They contain protein, vitamin C, and iron. But to get the benefits, mushrooms must first be cooked. Also, olive oil is essential for protecting the heart and onion benefit the body by protecting the immune system and even boosting it.
Ingredients for seared mushrooms
This side dish doesn’t require many ingredients and can be made ahead of time, and just warmed up later. All you need is to go out and get some mushrooms. You don’t have to use white mushrooms, it can be any kind you like. The rest of the ingredients such as olive oil, salt, and onion most people already have in their kitchen. Sounds pretty simple, right? It is!
